Community Action Center serves people in Whitman County, Washington.  CAC offers services from emergency and transitional housing, food bank, Section 8 rental vouchers, energy assistance, rental housing, new homes for sale (Self-Help), and weatherization services.  Community Action Center is a private non-profit 501(c)3 organization and is primarily funded by state, federal grants, and community donations.  Since 1988, CAC has been a source of support for moderate to low income people in Whitman County. Community Action Center is committed to reduce poverty, build strong independent families, and a better community.

Report & Score is provided by Transunion at no cost to you at anytime.  There are useful tools, articles, and credit simulators for you to use.  Do not click on any ads or pop-ups - only use the site for useful information.


Credit Repair:

This company's focus is getting your credit score increased so you can qualify for a home mortgage.  They offer a free consultation and have several different programs depending on your score and circumstances.  The programs they offer are not free but they have payment plans.

Palouse Habitat for Humanity builds houses in partnership with families that cannot otherwise afford their own home.  Partner families help to build their home with Palouse Habitat volunteers and then buy it at cost with a 0% interest mortgage held by Palouse Habitat for Humanity.  See their website for qualifications and to see if they are accepting applications at
